On May 16, 2025, the bridgeUkraine team participated in the working group meeting on “Labour Supply” as part of Ukraine’s Employment Strategy, led by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine with support from GIZ and BRDO under the REYOIN (“Promotion of Socio-Economic Integration of Returnees, Internally Displaced Persons, and Host Communities in Ukraine”) project.
Key issues discussed included aligning education with labour market needs, flexible recognition of qualifications, increasing public awareness of opportunities within Ukraine, and addressing regional and social disparities in employment access.
bridgeUkraine contributes to these efforts by developing a MOOC for Ukrainian engineers to support their employment and active participation in reconstruction projects. Our focus remains on fostering collaboration between education and the economy, strengthening human capital as a cornerstone of Ukraine’s sustainable recovery.
