On 22 July 2025, a productive high-level meeting took place with Dr. Mychailo Wynnyckyj, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Charles Cormack, Chairman of Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG), and Prof. Mykola Trofymenko, Rector of Mariupol State University, to discuss the deepening of collaboration under the EmpowerUkraine initiative.

- Ministry support for HORIZON Europe and Erasmus+ proposals
- Cross-ministerial coordination on Ukraine’s reconstruction
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to align EmpowerUkraine’s long-term goals with national education priorities
- Strategic partnerships with Ukrainian universities
- Twinning opportunities with leading academics and institutions in architecture and construction engineering
- Joint efforts on engineering education reform and co-badged MOOCs
