On 15 July 2025, the fifth meeting of the bridgeUkraine.org Alliance took place, bringing together members of the international academic, engineering, and professional community to advance collaborative efforts in support of Ukraine’s reconstruction and capacity-building.
The meeting opened with recent updates on the Alliance’s activities, presented by Dr. Stergios Mitoulis, highlighting key developments and future plans, as outlined in the bridgeUkraine Newsletter 2025.
A central part of the session focused on the Empower Ukraine project, a capacity-building programme designed to educate Ukrainian engineers in Eurocode-based infrastructure design and construction.
An open discussion followed, where members exchanged insights, proposed areas for collaboration, and emphasized the importance of knowledge-sharing to accelerate Ukraine’s sustainable recovery.
The bridgeUkraine.org Alliance expressed sincere gratitude to all participants for their continued commitment and active involvement. The collaborative effort remains focused on empowering Ukrainian researchers, engineers, and institutions, and on fostering long-term international partnerships for impactful reconstruction and innovation.
